MeshLink, an XR-based semiconductor education platform company, is accelerating its expansion into the Southeast Asian market by conducting a field trip to Thailand with all its employees to mark its founding anniversary. Since its establishment on April 2, 2024, MeshLink has already entered the Vietnamese market and is now expanding its business scope to Thailand, thereby concretizing its global strategy.
This visit to Thailand was planned not merely as a reward vacation, but as a strategic program designed to strengthen local understanding and conduct preliminary research for entering the Thai market, building upon the experience accumulated in Vietnam. In particular, it aims to verify Thailand’s potential as a second base within the Southeast Asian market and to establish a direction for future business expansion.
During their local itinerary, the staff visited Wat Pho, a representative cultural heritage site in Bangkok, to experience Thailand’s history and cultural background firsthand. Following this, at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, they examined local commercial areas and consumption trends, and spent time analyzing the distribution structures and customer needs unique to the Southeast Asian market.
A company official stated, “This visit was not merely a tour, but a process of concretizing our strategy for entering Thailand through an understanding of local culture, analysis of market structure, and practical learning about the business environment,” adding, “Based on our experience in Vietnam, we are laying the foundation to quickly establish ourselves in the Thai market.”
In particular, regarding the rationale behind choosing a company-wide overseas trip instead of a standard vacation for the company’s anniversary, the CEO of Meshlink emphasized, “We determined that strengthening organizational cohesion and simultaneously enhancing our understanding of the Southeast Asian market holds greater value than simply providing a day of rest,” adding, “We will continue to achieve meaningful results in the Thai market, following Vietnam.”
With this visit to Thailand, Meshlink has secured a major hub in Southeast Asia, following Vietnam, and is expected to further accelerate the global expansion of its XR-based semiconductor education platform.
