VKX and Meshlink Sign Partnership to Supply Vietnam’s First XR Semiconductor Education Platform

Hanoi, Vietnam – VKX, a local subsidiary strategically invested in by LG, and MeshLink, a leading South Korean AI and XR company, have signed a partnership agreement to officially launch a joint project to build Vietnam’s first XR-based semiconductor education platform.

This agreement is the first collaboration signed amidst the Vietnamese government’s large-scale investment in semiconductor talent development, and it is attracting significant attention from local educational institutions and the industry. In particular, the two parties aim to build an efficient system by dividing roles, with VKX supplying hardware infrastructure and MeshLink handling the XR-based software platform.

Through this agreement, the two companies have agreed to jointly supply the ‘Faraday XR’ platform to PTIT (Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology), a leading university in Vietnam specializing in information and communications. ‘Faraday XR’ is an educational solution designed to enable practical training in semiconductor manufacturing processes within an immersive virtual reality environment, offering a comprehensive curriculum ranging from basic semiconductor theory to process simulation.

VKX is a company leading the development of local industries in Vietnam based on LG’s technological capabilities and capital, and plans to further strengthen the link between education and industry through this project. Meanwhile, MeshLink is a company specializing in the development of smart education systems combining AI and XR technologies, and has commercialized numerous platforms that are attracting attention in the global education market.

This collaboration between VKX and Meshlink is expected to serve as a cornerstone for fostering Vietnam’s semiconductor industry ecosystem and is also being evaluated as an educational model that can be expanded across ASEAN in the future.
