— Faraday Begins Full-Scale Discussions on XR-Based Semiconductor Education Cooperation

Faculty from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand’s leading engineering university, and officials from KUMWELL Public Company Limited, a leading company in the field of industrial grounding and power safety, visited the headquarters and research center of Meshlink Co., Ltd. on October 30.
The main purpose of this visit was to directly observe the actual class operation methods and technical structure of the Faraday XR semiconductor education platform developed by Meshlink, and to explore possibilities for future cooperation.
XR -based semiconductor education field experience
During their visit, KMITL faculty members observed a demonstration of semiconductor manufacturing process training utilizing Faraday XR.
Faraday XR is a digital twin-based XR semiconductor training platform developed in-house by Meshlink that enables learning at each process step in a 3D virtual environment similar to operating actual equipment.
Through this demonstration, KMITL professors confirmed the potential to extend theory-based semiconductor education to the level of actual manufacturing sites and stated, “This type of hands-on XR education is absolutely necessary for KMITL students as well.”
KMITL is a national engineering university located in Bangkok, Thailand, possessing top-tier research capabilities in Southeast Asia in the fields of electrical engineering, semiconductors, AI, and robotics. It actively operates industry-linked educational programs and is currently pursuing a next-generation educational innovation project combining XR and AI. This visit was also part of this trend toward innovation.
Discussion on Industrial Safety XR Cooperation
Meanwhile, KUMWELL, which was visited together, is a company specializing in power safety, grounding, and lightning protection listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and is leading the establishment of safety infrastructure at industrial sites.
KUMWELL officials showed keen interest in the potential to incorporate XR into their power safety training system through an industrial XR technology demonstration held at the Meshlink research center.
The two companies agreed to pursue the joint development of XR-based industrial safety and smart factory educational content in the future and began discussions on specific technical cooperation.
Discussions on cooperation at the Meshlink Research Center
The visiting delegation toured the Meshlink Research Center in Busan and conducted an in-depth review of the XR technology structure, data integration methods, and the Learning Management System (LMS).
Meshlink is a company specializing in XR and AI-based digital transformation (DX), developing XR technologies across industry and education, including Faraday XR semiconductor training, Healing XR mental health treatment solutions, and Smart Factory XR platforms.
